The newly launched ION Arcon HD Pro chest protector is the first product to feature three different RE ZRO® materials, which is a clear marker of how far we’ve come and a glimpse into where we’re heading. With unique components crafted for specific impact zones, its protection tailored to the real demands of riders and a symbol of our growing design and production capabilities.

A new era of material innovation

Expanding on our TPE, our capabilities now span across PP, NA, and TPV with each one selected and engineered for specific performance goals across diverse applications. Here’s a breakdown of our material range:

TPE = Thermoplastic Elastomer -  this is a whole family of materials that are flexible like rubber but processable like plastic.

PP = Polypropylene - not a TPE, but a separate thermoplastic. It’s more rigid, often used for structural or semi-flexible parts.

TPV = Thermoplastic Vulcanizate - type of a TPE, specifically, it’s a TPE that has been vulcanized (partially cross-linked rubber in a thermoplastic matrix), giving it better elasticity and durability.

NA = Nylon -Often used for components that need to be strong, lightweight, and resistant to wear, perfect for hardware that sees repeated movement or stress.
This is how we aim to continuously push for change of the status quo, challenge the industry and ourselves to see what’s possible.
