The Arcon HD Pro also marks a major milestone for RE ZRO® - it’s the first product to showcase our range of sustainable materials across different components. Expanding our material range allows us to fine-tune protection, comfort and sustainability in ways that have previously never been explored before and this is just the beginning of what’s possible.

Every part of the Arcon HD Pro is designed to move with you, not against you. The ergonomic fit offers full freedom on technical descents, while the flexible materials stay comfortable and ventilated no matter the terrain or temperature.

Three RE ZRO® innovation zones

The Arcon HD Pro incorporates three RE ZRO® components: the chest and back protector, the power slide caps and the buckle. These components are made with our advanced range of materials which are all recyclable and biodegradable*:

1. Chest and back protector made with RE ZRO® TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer)

2. Power slide caps made with RE ZRO®  PP (Polypropylene)

3. Cannon Buckle made with RE ZRO® PA66 (Nylon)

By combining multiple advanced materials, each chosen for its specific role, we’re able to optimise protection where it matters most, making the gear highly adaptive to your body and the environment it gets exposed to on your next adventure.
All RE ZRO® components of the Arcon HD Pro can also be dismantled to allow each element to be recycled individually.

Shear thinning technology

Our RE ZRO® TPE utilises shear thinning technology, this means the material keeps its shape during normal wear, but when impact hits, it absorbs the energy by becoming more fluid. This combo of flexibility and shock absorption is what makes RE ZRO® such a game-changer for impact protection.Unlike traditional materials that stiffen on impact and bounce force back into the body, shear-thinning ambsorbs energy, giving you protection that not only works better but feels better to wear.
