FIM Flat Track World Championship - Round 6, King's Lynn, UK
It has been a successful few weeks for RE ZRO® British Flat Track rider Jack Bell, having added another win to his belt last Saturday at his home round of the FIM Flat Track World Championship. This marked his second consecutive World Championship win and a third podium in a row. The result moves Bell up to 2nd in the World Standings with four rounds remaining.
A wet night at King's Lynn
Round 6 brought heavy rain to King's Lynn speedway, living up to every British weather stereotype.
"The track was very wet and needed very careful and precise riding to negotiate the way round," Jack said.
Officials had briefed riders that results could be called after heat 9 if the rain persisted. Racing continued to heat 12, with Jack posting the best qualifying aggregate across four heat races, finishing 1st, 2nd, 1st, and 1st. When track officials ultimately called the event due to unsafe conditions, Bell was awarded the overall win.
"I made sure to be very careful and smooth on the wet conditions, meanwhile mistakes were being made by my championship rivals, so important points were up for grabs," He added.
Moving up the standings
The win gives Jack a significant boost in the championship, now sitting 2nd overall with four rounds still to go.

What's next
Bell now turns attention to the final round of the ACU British Championship at Buxton Speedway next weekend, where his second British Championship title is within reach, having already won the DTRA British Championship.
