RE ZRO®, the British materials brand pioneering biodegradable* and recyclable impact protection, has announced a new partnership with Carrera Moto, dedicated to raising the standard of motorcycle gear in Mexico.
United by a shared mission to create protective equipment that performs as responsibly as it protects, the collaboration marks RE ZRO®’s first strategic move into the Latin American market. Carrera’s new line of riding apparel, including the Mexico Uno, Rumorosa, La Ventosa and Yumana jackets, will integrate RE ZRO®’s CE-certified protectors across the shoulders, elbows and back, bringing advanced European-standard safety to riders throughout Mexico.
Developed using RE ZRO®’s proprietary thermoplastic elastomer, the protectors remain lightweight and flexible in motion, then momentarily soften further under impact to absorb energy efficiently, all while being recyclable and engineered to biodegrade* in oxygen-depleted environments. The result is protection that performs on the road, then returns to zero at end of life.
“Carrera Moto shares our belief that high-performance protection shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense,” said Jake Tindall of RE ZRO®. “This partnership extends our reach into a passionate and fast-growing motorcycling community, and together we’re setting a new benchmark for responsible riding gear.”
The collection, designed by and for motorcyclists, blends technical precision with regional inspiration, from Baja’s Route 1 to Oaxaca’s windswept Ventosa, reflecting a deep connection between Mexico’s landscapes and its riders.
‘At Carrera Moto, we’re proud to announce our partnership with RE ZRO®, a brand that stands for protection, comfort, and environmental responsibility. We can think of no better partner to help drive Carrera Moto forward.
Our mission has always been to create gear — and a culture — that celebrates passionate and responsible motorcycling. With RE ZRO’s advanced armour technology integrated into our garments, we’re taking a major step toward that vision.’ said Arturo Zorrilla Valdés, founder of Carrera Moto.
Available later this year, the Carrera Moto x RE ZRO® line demonstrates how protection, performance and sustainability can co-exist, proving that the future of motorcycle gear is made better.
