Hannah Bergemann has secured second place at Red Bull Rampage 2025, confirming her status among the top freeriders in the sport.
This year’s women’s category, held in Virgin, Utah, brought steep terrain, loose conditions and the kind of features that define Rampage as the toughest event in freeride. After sitting out 2024 due to injury, the ION rider returned ready to ride big and ride clean.
Her run stood out for its precision and confidence. She connected a technical top section into a clean mid-course backflip, holding speed through drops and steep faces. The final score of 89.33 put her just 0.17 points off the win and earned her the McGazza Spirit Award for her attitude and commitment throughout the event.
"I’m still so happy with how I rode and how everyone rode. My goal’s complete, and it’s a cherry on top to be on the podium," Hannah told Red Bull.
Her performance reflected more than just skill. It showed the trust she places in her preparation, her crew and her protection. Riding with ION x RE ZRO® ARCON HD PRO, she was able to focus entirely on her line, confident that her gear would perform when it mattered most.
At RE ZRO®, we back riders who push limits, build community and move the sport forward. Hannah embodies that. Her presence at Rampage represents the strength of women’s freeride and the growing recognition of riders who are shaping its future.
"We look for riders who bring more than results," says Lauren Maher, Sponsorship Manager at RE ZRO®. "Hannah doesn’t just push her own limits. She lifts the whole field and shows what’s possible in freeride."
Hannah’s podium at Rampage is not just a personal milestone. It is part of a bigger story about progression in freeride and the importance of giving riders the freedom to ride at their best.
For ION & RE ZRO®, moments like this show why we do what we do. Riders like Hannah prove that performance and protection go hand in hand.
